Best Christmas Cake Ever? - November 2018

Alice Buchanan December 11, 2018 : 0

Christmas cake is a heated topic amongst my family, it's either a love or hate relationship, with no in betweens.  My nan used to bake coins into the recipe which could buy a lucky kid a lot of lollies at the diary back then but I'm pretty sure that's frowned upon now!  Choking hazard or encouraging sugar?

I've never really embraced the fruit in cake thing but a quick poll about the office puts me rather in the minority.  It seems in our office anyway, the mighty Christmas Cake is a Christmas essential.

So, I've trawled the internet and found a few Christmas cake recipes bound to impress;

and because surely the brits have something to say about Christmas cakes...

Enjoy your Christmas everyone!  With or without cake!
