dtr donates 40 samsung tablets to the Vodafone Warriors - April 2013

Mark Spring April 10, 2013 : 0

Today we presented the Vodafone Warriors with Samsung Galaxy tablets for every one of the club’s coaching staff and players. Now the Warriors will be more mobile and better prepared for game day than ever before!

The new tablets will allow Warriors coaching staff to easily share plays, video content and keep in constant contact. Warriors Coach Matt Elliot said they’ll give the team “total access to all sorts of material we need from a coaching perspective. They will also provide the players with vital information for their training and game preparation.”

We’re thrilled to be able to help the Warriors in such a direct way. We think the difference could be seen on the weekend, the Warriors unlucky to lose to the Raiders in the last five minutes. However it was great to see Manu Vatuvei score two tries in his second game back. We look forward to seeing the difference these tablets will make as the season goes on.

The tablets are going to help more people than just the Warriors though. At the end of the season we’ll be getting them back from the Warriors and dtr will donate them to four lucky low decile schools around Auckland. Every kiwi kid should have access to the best tech resources and we’re delighted to be making a difference.
