dtr celebrates Vodafone Warriors launch party - March 2013

The Vodafone Warriors and dtr exploded the house last Thursday! The house being Ngati Otara Park in South Auckland, with a huge launch party for around 5,000 people, held by Vodafone and all other sponsors to welcome the Warriors to the 2013 season.

The Mad Butcher was there giving away sausages as fast as he could make them, Red Bull handed out drinks, and numerous other sponsors spoiled the massive crowd with treats and giveaways.

We had a few products to give away as well, including mini blue rugby balls, brochures and a 55 inch Full HD TV. The TV alone had almost everyone at the event filling in entry forms to be in the draw to win.

All in all it was a fabulous day had by all, and we look forward to the new Warriors season. To draw the winner, we had the help of Warriors player, Manu Vatuvei, who played the crowd by conveniently drawing his own name first. Unfortunately the actual winner was not present when his name was pulled, but a quick phone call had him and his family rushing down to collect their prize. To say they were ecstatic was an understatement!

All in all it was a fabulous day had by all, and we look forward to the new Warriors season.
