does dtr sell door to door?
Yes, we do this to provide our products and services to those who may not be able to reach our stores or those who are not aware of our offerings. We bring the dtr experience to the customer in the convenience of their own home.
We use an experienced third party door to door team who are trained specifically for this task. They rotate amongst our branches and head out each day to reach those customers who can't reach us.
what is the process?
Our door to door teams are showing our brochures and gathering our customer's wish lists. The customers can opt to complete an application form which is then returned to the store for processing. If they choose to complete an application the team will gather copies of all supporting documents required at the same time.
Supporting documents may include one or more of the following:
- Drivers Licence
- Credit Card
- Community Services Card
- Birth Certificate
- WINZ statement
- Bank statement
- Proof of residence
Branch Managers will contact the customers first to ensure they wish to proceed and confirm the information provided. The application then goes through our usual approval process which can take up to 2 working days.
what if I change my mind?
Don't worry we offer over and above the standard 7 day return policy by promising you a full 30 day cooling off period during which you can cancel and return the goods with no fault.
We also follow up with all our customers with a survey phone call to make sure the entire process was done correctly and our customers are happy.
